The beautiful Oslo city is truly blessed by nature and is adorned with stunning forests, hills, parks, beaches and lakes. In summers, the city comes to life and people enjoy their time with friends and families by visiting some parks or beaches. The various beaches in the city are places where they enjoy, relax or even have a rocking nightlife.

The sculptures consist of naked human figures, in all variety of poses and situations — from the pastoral to the downright surreal — exploring the human form and human life, at its purest. So while Mom was safely tucked up in a hospital bed at the Oslo University HospitalI decided to go and find my silver lining — the Vigeland Sculpture Park. The park, which had been on my original list of places to see, was in walking distance of the hospital. So, armed with map and camera, I left the hospital and headed out. The Vigilend Sculpture Park is a wonderland of life-size bronze and granite sculptures depicting humans, ranging from small children to closely entwined lovers, friends, families, and elderly couples, in everyday activities such as walking and playing to holding hands and hugging.
